I Gotta Wear Shades

Jay visited us this weekend from Maryland. He is my father's friend from college and has a daughter my age. She'll be attending Franklin & Marshall in the fall and I will be attending Hood. Throughout our discussion of my college preparations and plans, Jay kept repeating the same phrase over and over.

"It's all happening," he said.

I suppose it is.

I'm filled with an intense yet subdued excitement. A new season of my life is about to start!
